Tyler Daniels
Pastor
Just a little about me. I am originally from Raleigh, North Carolina. I love fishing, enjoy woodworking, and am always happy to spend time tinkering with just about anything that has an engine.
After high school, I earned my first degree in Construction Management. Building has always been a passion of mine, but God had different plans. After sensing a call to pastoral ministry in 2011, I transferred to Mount Olive University to study Religion, graduating in 2014. That same year, I began my studies at Duke Divinity School, where I earned my Master of Divinity in 2018. During my time at Duke, I had the privilege of serving as a student pastor in Roxboro, North Carolina.
In 2018, I was appointed to serve at Zion United Methodist Church in Leland, where I had the joy of serving for six years. In July 2024, I was appointed as pastor of Wrightsboro United Methodist Church, and it has been a blessing to serve this congregation. As an ordained Elder in The United Methodist Church, I am passionate about helping people discover God's love, grow in faith, and live out their calling as disciples of Jesus Christ.
One of my greatest joys in ministry is walking alongside people wherever they are in their journey. Whether you have questions, need someone to listen, are searching for a place to belong, or simply want to talk, I hope you know that I am always available. My desire is for everyone to find a place where they experience God's grace, grow in faith, and know they are valued. For those who have experienced hurt or harm from the church, my hope is to help create a path toward healing, restoration, and a renewed sense of belonging.
My daughter, Sadie Mae, keeps life fun and full of adventure, and in April 2026, I married my beautiful wife, Cameron. We are grateful to call Wrightsboro home and are excited to continue serving alongside this incredible church family. We look forward to seeing all that God has in store for the years ahead!

Amanda Hunter
Music Director
Amanda Hunter is super excited to be back on the staff at WUMC. She has a Music Performance degree from East Carolina University, GO PIRATES! She has been a music director in the church since 2007, working in many different denominations including Episcopal and Baptist, but predominantly United Methodist. Amanda and her husband, Chris are newlyweds, and expecting their first baby in March. She also loves working in musical theatre with local companies such as Panache Theatre Company and Thalian Association Community Theater.

Hannah Nguyen
Children's Director
Hannah is excited to be a part of the Wrightsboro UMC family. Being a preacher's kid in the United Methodist Church, Hannah has been a part of several church’s children’s teams. Hannah has been working with children for as long as she can remember. She started out teaching at a child development center in 2007 and has worked in various positions in public schools from Pre-K to 5th grade, until having her son in 2017 when she decided to stay home. That is where she heard the call to children’s ministry, missing being with the kids but also wanting to spend time with her own. Hannah’s heart is for children to come to know, love and serve Jesus and to help empower parents in their role to be their children’s primary spiritual influencers. Hannah and her husband, CJ, have a son, Luke and are expecting another little one in May 2022. Spend more than a few minutes with Hannah and you will soon figure out her deep love of all things Disney and musical theater.
